Each spring on the farm, Mom would plant a herb patch in the garden down in front of the ol’ farmhouse. Along with your usual rosemary and basil and other garden varieties she’d always tuck a few geraniums. A supposed trick from an old gardening book. Kind of like how you’re supposed to plant marigolds with your tomatoes to keep the bugs away. We have no idea if it actually worked, but that front herb garden always smelt amazing.
Our take on Front Garden couples the distinct and strong scent of rosemary with the savoury and sweet smell of young basil. To that we’ve added just the right amount of geranium. It’s a unique blend that smells oh-so-good and has us dreaming of digging into the dirt to create our own herb garden. Geraniums and all.
